Horrible Bosses

Rating: Pretty Damn Good

The thing about comedy is there’s a certain psychology to it. Honestly, I didn’t laugh much during this movie, however most of the people in the theater did. There weren’t too many people that hated it, and there were more people that really enjoyed it than thought it was just okay. So, even though I didn’t get much of a kick out of the movie, chances are you will.

Sometimes it's like "Horrible Bosses" just tries too hard

What you may not like:

-Stale jokes, I enjoy dry humor, but some jokes were immature, like what a child would tell
-Jennifer Anniston’s character is a whore which pissed some people off. Seriously? Lighten up people.

The crazy characters are a great touch

What you may love:

-The quirky characters; Jennifer Anniston’s out of her mind, Kevin Spacey is perfect as the crazy asshole and even Colin Farrell does a top notch job with his character as a total douche bag
-Simple story, the movie moves so fast you won’t believe it’s actually an hour and half. They get to the point and they don’t waste any time
-Lots of sexy Jen moments
-People were laughing through most of the movie, so even though a lot of the comedy wasn’t really my style, I could see that the movie is hilarious much more often than it’s not

This one will probably end up in people’s DVD collection. It’s a great movie to watch on a night with friends when everyone wants to do something, but doesn’t want to do anything, ya know what I mean? I’d say full price with friends at the theater makes sense. It’d make a great day-date as a matinee and most people will probably be okay spending 20 bucks on DVD and 30 on Blu-Ray because it has good re-watch value.

What’d you think?
